a shoulder roll is when he ROLLS his shoulder OVER his chin for a punch coming from the RIGHT hand.

As you can see its a left being thrown and he didnt protect with his right hand.

how long did it take you to find that little clip to try and make you feel better about the upcoming fight?

I dont hate pacquiao i just hate people who dont know ****.
Nice loooooong post trying to make yourself feel better.

You love my sig don't you?

exactly. I don't know why the pac nuthuggers keep making issues out of non-issues.

Pac has a cauliflower ear, not a busted eardrum. No single doctor that's treated Pac has said it's an eardrum problem.

Both guys have agreed to 8oz gloves, yet there's threads still being made about Floyd and 10oz gloves.

      wtf?

        Jose,

Pinoys are neither boxing fans nor knowledgeable about the sport. If you go to other (non Pac, non-Floyd) threads, you will see that they seldom post in those. Or they try to infuse Pacquiao into an irrelevant thread.

They are fans of one person. Not the sport.

Manny Pacquiao DOES NOT have a ruptured eardrum

              Here's more food for thought.

Pacman injury not a cause for alarm

              by Ronnie Nathanielsz

DR. Jeffrey J. Roth, the plastic surgeon, who treated Filipino boxing hero Manny Pacquiao after his "Fire Power" showdown with World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Miguel Cotto to drain some blood from his right ear, said the bleeding was far from the boxer's brain and there's no cause for concern.

In an exclusive interview with www.insidesports.ph, Standard Today and Viva Sports, Dr. Roth allayed concerns among Filipino boxing fans following reports that some blood and fluid had to be drained from Pacquiao?s ear, first after he scored a 12th-round TKO over Cotto, and then the following day.

Dr. Roth said he understood the concern. Manny is a terrific representative of the Filipino people. He is a great fighter and I have always found him to be a great person as well.

                AND...

BoxingScene.com, insidesports.ph, Standard Today and Viva Sports learned that Dr. Roth who is a plastic surgeon had to drain more blood on the day after the fight along with some fluid to prevent the blood from hardening and causing a cauliflower ear, similar to that of some wrestlers.

The Executive Director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, lawyer Keith Kizer told us that after the fight both boxers were in good spirits and there were no major concerns. At the same time Kizer made it clear that Dr. Roth does not work for the NSAC but was brought in by Top Rank.

This is AFTER the doctor said that it was a very minor cartilage injury.

                      Pac is fine. Thankfully.

As if the doctor would have cleared him to go perform at a loud concert with a ruptured eardrum.
Under what pretenses do you accuse me of false proclamation? if all you have to support your claim is a misspelled word, then I'm sorry but that can hardly be considered as evidence.

Onto the matter at hand then. The exterior of the ear is a vital piece of human tissue, it contributes to our auditory senses by amplifying and concentrating the sound into the ear canal. Kind of like when you manipulate a piece of paper into a cylinder and talk into one end, the magnitude of the sound is increased when exiting the other.

So one would assume that Pac's hearing problems that occurred during the post-fight interview is due to the disfigurement of the exterior cartilage. However, it has been proven that this amplification process from the external cartilage is only applicable to sound waves/pressure at a minimum distance of 20 feet. Pac was standing < 1 feet away from Max Kellerman at the interview and still had difficulty hearing Kellerman's words. This proves that pac's auditory malfunction originates from internal structural damage of the ear. Because at close proximity the amplification contributed by the external ear is negligible.

To address the official statements, personally I would rather believe Pac when he is telling me that he has hearing problems rather then the media broadcasting other wise. As we all know, the boxing media's interest is in its business, the disclosure of the objective truth comes second.
