I'm not mad that Williams won. In fact, I'm dissapointed that people are bashing him. He fought his heart out and deserves to believe he won. All anger should be directed at promoters and bodies for allowing this.

i dont think its that they are bashing him..he fought his ass off and i have way more respect for him now hes got balls...it just looks bad because of that one judge and it reflects bad on pwill just because the bad judge was in his favor..its not pwills fault at all

That's ironic coming from the guy who lives in a city that host a monthly fight series at casinos 20 miles away that has seen such great prospects like Lamont Peterson, Anthony Peterson, Fernando Guerrero, Shawn Porter etc.... and a city in Memphis that has hosted a mega fight every year since 2002's Tyson/Lewis and has not been to one of those fight cards and didn't even know about the series in Tunica, MS.

I have personally invited Larry to fight cards in tunica and have the PMs to prove it where he didn't even know they existed.

I'm mad not because P. Will won, but because if they had a real judge instead of that old blind guy, it could have been a draw. Plus that score was just disrespectful to Sergio and boxing in general.

119-110 was horrible but he did pick the correct winner of the fight, so it doesn't really matter how he scored it... i thought P-Williams edged it about 2 rounds. Martinez did land some great shots but every time he did, he never followed up on his puches, continued to back up and allow P-Will to fire back at him....Martinez gave up alot of round doing that....Constant pressure from P-Will really allowed him to control the fight IMO.. 115-113 Paul Williams....

I agree. I just find it funny how some of the same people complaining agreed wth the Froch-Direll scorecards. To me they have no cred. But you're right about that 119-110 scorecard.

The only people agreeing that Froch beat Direll are the english limeys. The only people who thought Williams won tonight are the black americans.
Prett sad when the boxing is judged by that.
Direll beat Froch and Martinez easily beat Williams tonight. That's not even counting the phantom knockdown when Martinez slipped and the hometown ref still gave a count.
