with the recent posts about how the cheapest seats 2 pacquiao mayweather will be 500$ (compared 2 pac hatton 150$)i am extreamly discouraged about finding tickets my main concern is the scalpers(99% of the time not fans @ all) who use theyre advantages (i.e. american express rewards) 2 purchase hundreds @ a time and sell them double and triple ..sooo 1000-1500 for the top of the mgm!? **** ! were gonna see jay z in the nose bleeds lol anyway...
i recently went to a mylie cyrus concert(no ****) which sold out veryyy fast but due 2 a system called PAPERLESS TICKETS left zero tickets 2 scalpers ..for anyone who has never heard of it heres how it goes ...
1. Buy your tickets online using a credit card.
2. Bring the credit card used to purchase your tickets and a valid government issued photo ID to the venue along with your entire party. THE ENTIRE PARTY MUST BE PRESENT TO GAIN ENTRY.
3.Go directly to the door with your party, present your ID and swipe your credit card for immediate entry.
basically it went like this
wee got the tickets online with our card
we waited online.. instead of them scanning our ticket they swiped our card and printed the tickets right there (takes about 4 seconds) they were cheking some ids but not al, mostly large groups it was a great great idea in which only true fans were allowed in the arena
what im getting at is if bob arum gives 2 ****s about boxing fans this will be issued for the fight im not positive but im pretty sure he does not make any money off of scalpers ..
my main point is a fight like this comes around once in a lifetime im not the biggest fan of either fighter (see the hatton sig) but as a TRUE boxing fan i think I and WE deserve a fair shot at getting tickets i mean what will the atmosphere be like ???with prices that high it will be filled with a bunch of buzz kills ..theres nothing like being in a crowd with true fans
