Well, the answer is obvious. Arum's not a guy who's looking out for the good of boxing. He's a guy who is looking to make a quick buck. Chavez Jr. makes money because people keep going to his fights and buying his PPVs. It actually speaks to Arum's business sense to see him make money on a lame guy like this. Agreed, though, that without his father's name, Chavez Jr. would have been thrown to the wolves long ago, and we never would have heard about him, except maybe as cannon fodder for a rising legit prospect.

Those of you who think he's cheating are ******. Did you not see his lame ass performance on the Pac-Cotto undercard. Obviously he's not cheating after a performace like that LOL!!Comment

They should make him fight Martinez as a punishment, after all he is rated #1 by the corrupt WBC...he is in line to fight Sergio. I would pay to see Martinez put a whooping on this kid....what a disgrace to Boxing!Chavez is having trouble making 160 how the hell he is still fighting at 154? i mean he should re-think this situation and maybe step down and retire becuase at 160 you have kelly pavlik as the champion, and at 154 you have sergio martinez and we all saw him last night giving paul williams a beatiing.
so where should chavez go?? maybe face a few more tomatoe cans, make some more good money, and retire i truly believe so and you know what i used to be a supporter of chavez jr. but i think Saul Canelo Alvarez is the real deal in mexico now.
Chavez faces suspension, and probably retirementComment
