While Paul Williams was a Beast that no one wanted to **** with... all the big name fighters avoided him from 147-160. Williams was consedered and A++ fighter!!!... so is Williams not really that good or is Martinez that much better than we thought????????
I think it played out the way quintana and williams I played BUT This time Williams turned on the warrior heat and heart to pull a W.

It was close but again remember styles makes fights.

He fought an A level opponent!

Maravilla vs Punisher was for me, the fight of the year. Was a unique fight, both guys could do what no one can do with their unhuman skills.

Very impressive win for P-Will, but could go either way. The 11th and 12th rounds were very close. Clean punches against a Machinegun. Could go either way!

Martinez is good but last night it was Williams screwing up really. First mistake, trying to KO martinez in the first round, in turn he too got a taste of the canvas. Second mistake: WHAT DEFENSE!? He defended with his face all night. His hands and arms cause the impression he really has no accurate control where he puts them, like he's trying to coordinate his arms with a remote control running out of batteries. Third mistake: YOU ARE SLOW. Yes i've said it, Paul Williams looked slow tonight. Much like in the Quintana first fight, all Martinez had to do was the show him the shoulder and Williams couldn't land half the punches. Horrible horrible fight by Williams.
He's a dumb ass, he's abusing his body going up and down in weight and believe me, it will take something out of him. Greed will be the end of P.Williams sad to say. It's easier to develop a fking personality and talk **** than screwing your body like that to get fights! That will mess with the chemistry balance of your body and Roy Jones you ultimately.

Martinez is a gutty fighter and he gives his all and does not back down. GREAT fighters have fought one or two opponents that gave them a hard time. All the great ones have gone through this. Floyd had it against castillo in 2nd fight and pacquiao has had it more than once(barerra and marquez). We look at how much trouble marquez gave pacquiao and floyd destroys marquez. Boxing is about styles. Judah gives floyd a somewhat difficult time, gets beat up by cotto, destroyed by clottey.STYLES PEOPLE !!!

so do u think that williams just made to many mistakes last night and would capitalize and make adjustments in a rematch or it would be a repeat of what we saw last night????

I think Williams could adjust yes but I'm not sure. Williams can turn up throwing 1000 punches per round and moving or he can show up like last night. He's not technically very sound too. Depends heavily on his output.

Can't I say both? Martinez is the real deal. I been saying that for the past month and Williams is not everything his fans make him out to be. If he had stayed at 147 he would have to all of the top names.

Ummm.. You realize his output depends heavily on who he's fighting?
he will never throw that many against martinez because martinez moves too much.. so unless paul wants to sit there and shadow box, he will never do this.
