What many people don't realize is that ******s consider Jesus Christ as one of Allah's many prophets, they believed that Jesus was spreading the word of Islam. Jesus Christ is revered in Islam, the Arabic pronunciation of Jesus' name is 'Isa'. Therefore wishing people Merry Christmas is not taboo in Islam.

Anyway, people of many different religions all over the world celebrate Christmas. It's a shopping event just as much as a religious celebration.

Infact, there is an entire chaper in the Qu'ran devoted to Mary and the birth of Jesus while there is no narrative of Muhammad's life story in the Qu'ran.

In the Gospel of Saint Barnabus it even mentions Jesus saying 'there will come a man like me after my death who will serve God , his name will be Muhammad'
