Can You See Khan Moving Up In Weight?

Watching Khan last night, he's got speed and power at 140 but I was wondering how far up in weight he could go and keep the speed and power if any? Pacquiao has gone up about 19 pounds from 2003 - present day and carried his speed and power with him. (I'm not saying Khan is as good as Pac BTW). Could you see Khan going to Light Middleweight (14 pounds higher) or even Middleweight? (20 pounds higher) Or is he better trying to stay at 140 - 147?

I agree he should stay at 140 just now but I mean in his career as a whole could you see him going higher?

I see him going up to WW at least. He's pretty big, surley he will struggle to make 140 when he gets older.

Like Pacquiao, I think Khan become even stronger at the higher weights. He should stay at light welter for a couple of years and take some big fights there, and then move on to the welterweight division. I think he will eventually fill out to be a very solid light middleweight, with speed and great power.

He's 22 and just starting to face elite fighters, its too early to think about stepping up... but yes in the future he could easily go up a couple of weights. Probably 154 for his height and frame. MW he would be up against 6 footers, or bigger (Pavlik, Williams etc)

yea sure if he beats some good fighters in his division why not!

would like to see him at WW but not now! think it would go the wrong way!

Roach is doing a good job at the moment with Khan!

Stay below 147. I'm not convinced he's a full Welterweight yet, but no doubt he will go to 147 later on as he fills out and gets older.

He should stick where he is; even if he can carry his speed up with him he won't survive higher weight classes. He has VERY low durability and little power. His speed, size and reach advantages work great for him at low catagories but the more he loses those, the harder things will get for him.

Can you really see him in there with somone like Mundine?
