I thought it said Manny makes a massive guarantee. As in he was guaranteeing the fans a victory or something. Lol.
I thought the lead was as expected. Manny knows that this is not just about fistic victory but fiscal as well. 25 Million is indeed an incredible figure for one nights work. Just imagine what Ali-Foreman or Ali-Frazier would be worth today.
I see Pacquiao over powering a reluctant Floyd. Floyd will play it cute in the early going. But at some point, probably after 6 stanzas, Mayweather will engage. And that will be his point of no return. In any case, we will have three months to deconstruct this entire affair. It's going to be quite an event for the world of prize fighting.

Classic Boxer vs Puncher. The only chance and these are slim odds in my book, is if the puncher lands a massive punch and is able to finish the boxer. The boxer will win this fight with his size/reach advantage & defensive superioritry in my book. Heck he may even KO the puncher late in the fight due accumuation of punches.
Bottom Line: Mayweather wins by UD or late KO.

There is no way that floyed will win this! i want to see how his shoulder roll will work on 5 punch combo form all diffrent and weird angles, floyed is a good boxer, but if he will be looking for that counter punch he will hit the floor before he will see a chanc o land it!!! and i dont like mayweather anyway to much bs just like his dad never shuts up, i have more respect for pac. How he acts and what he does for his country that great and i want him to wip mayweathers ass and then give him his money so he can use them for his medical bills!!!

Arum is one arrogant, self centered SOB. He actually stated that Pacquaio's opponent in the Senate race should withdraw so that Manny won't have any distractions! That is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard. Why the hell should that man, who is the incumbent and wants to continue to serve, quit the race simply because a boxer who wants to get into politics wants the seat? Why the hell should he care about what is in the best interest of Manny Pacquaio? That is the equivalent of saying that all candidates for President of the U.S. should withdraw from the next race to all Sarah Palin to become president. WTF? If Arum is so concerned about the politics, he should be encouraging Pacquaio to get out of the race.

I am not sure if you are one of them or not, but a lot of the Mayweather haters on this site have been saying that Mayweather plays it safe and only fights fighters that he knows he can beat and avoids "the best welterweights."

If that is true, then you and everyone other Pac worshipper should be sh....t....g in your pants because Mayweather agreed to this fight faster than the Oscar and Hatton fights, which means he KNOWS THIS WILL BE AN EASY FIGHT.

Prior to this fight, Pacquaio's highest grossing fight was the Cotto fight. He was guaranteed 13 million in a fight that did 1.2 million. If this is true and his guarantee is 25 million that will be twice as much as he has ever made, which means they expect twice as many PPVs. That is due to Mayweather's popularity, not Pacquaio's.

To me he is the chicken. It is easy to make yourself look like a hero when you fight against fighters that was recently knocked out, old or weight-drained. Manny doesn't impress me in the slightest.

Ask me this cassius the assius. Do you think that Manny would have beaten a prime DeLaHoya? Or a prime Cotto before his lost against Margarito? Or even Ricky Hatton that fought Kostya? I don't think so. Manny is not the fighter that most of you *******s project.

It's sort of like Paul Williams' close fight with Martinez last night. Perception can be very misleading.
blah blah blah, everyone's been through that **** before, old story. tell us something we haven't heard before, not the old prime-DLH, prime cotto ****. evryone sees a great a fighter in Pacquiao, except the haters, of course.
