It was. He had the best sparring partner to prepare him for Martinez and he still could not beat him.

Nah you're just a PW fanboy with his **** up your ass. Looking to make an excuse and bash Pavlik.

PW had been training for the Pavlik fight at 160

Martinez didnt have a full camp

They both had the same amount of time to train for eachothers southpaw stance

PW had perhaps the best sparring partner possible in Carlos, i don't imagine Martinez could find anyone who could mimic PW's style as closely.

I'm not on P-Will's ****. I just can't understand why he has so many haters on this site. I can understand the backlash for certain posters using him as Floyd's prison bubba. But other than that, I don't see too many people saying Williams isn't human. The guy's activity level when it comes to fighting frequently has been larger than most world class fighters. He's fought six times in the last two years. How many times have Mosley, Hopkins, and Mayweather fought here lately?

              Williams is also a southpaw..

So when he faces another southpaw, its not as awkward as it would be for a traditional stance fighter

It is like an orthodox fighter facing an orthodox fighter..

it took Williams about 3 rounds to adjust. After that it was pretty much all Williams.

Okay, understand. The PW haters though is probably more of a backlash to the sheer quantity of unjustified PW hype than anything else.

HBO's everyone from 147 to 175 is scared, fanboys doing fantasy matchups with him vs guys like Bute saying they stand no chance. It's revolt against ******ity i'd presume more than the man himself.
