They must have given every close round to paul... I think it was clear who won that fight and it was martinez. Do yall P-dub fans still think he would beat floyd? I think he would dominate paul personally. He's just another tall pressure fighter to me. Martinez did all that damage and he stayed on the outside imagine a fighter who is as efficient when fighting in the pocket as floyd is

i had the fight as a draw....i was not impressed by P. will. imagine if Martinez didn't ran out of gas in the late rounds because of a shorter training period.....martinez could have KO P. Will....

The only controversy involved in this fight was the scorecard of 119-110, that not withstanding it was a very good fight, between two highly skilled fighters who showed that along with having the ability to operate at a high level, they both have the hearts to match. I had Paul edging Sergio by a round, but a draw would have been appropriate. A lot of people are bashing Paul for not having been able to dominate Sergio, but who else would or could? Sergio is problem for any of the elite fighters he gets in the ring with.

Yeah, Cotto's a done deal. What's funny to me is that I have been
an advocate speaking on Cotto's flaws and how he needed to improve
and so many bashed me and said I was a Cotto hater and now not a
peep out of none of his die hard fans. Homie became a gate keeper
at 28? I tried to give Cotto the benefit of the doubt because he was
bigger than Manny and better than the 3 other previous fight but
his mental and technical game just couldn't hold up. In regards to
Paul Williams, he needs to be careful because that pressure style with
no defense is going to get him laced up against a big hitter. Like for
instance, if he would have tried to slug it out with Pavlik it could
have been lights out for him.

I just watched it and scored it round by round, i didn't know who Martinez was and i'm not a huge fan of Williams.

At the end my score card was: 114-113 for Williams. I'm suprised cause before counting the points i thought Martinez had won it. Williams may have won on the cards but he took a beating, cause Martinez landed some bombs.

Could have went either way cause there was a lot of close rounds. However the judge who gave it 119-110 for williams should be hung by the balls.
