    Uploading to computer from VHS

    Hey guys, I have many fights on VHS that I want to share..
    Yes I am a computer amateur!! What do I need to do to get them onto my PC?

    The best way to do it, is to get a video card that has the ability to capture video from an input source, like the RCA output on your VCR. I use an ATI card myself, and love it. You can by a TV reciever card instead of upgrading video cards, but I doubt you'd be as happy with it. With my ATI Radeon video card, I can bring inputs from 4 sources, output the same, use my 54" flat screen TV as a PC monitor, record anything from my PC that I want on tape or DVD, and I can do almost everything with a UHF remote that came with the ATI card. I have it hooked through the TV in the downstairs den, and can change channels on the PC, use the remote as a mouse, etc. all without having to go to my office which is up 2 flights of stairs. Cool stuff
