The only downside to being harsh on judges with off the wall scorecards is that we may see Judges across the board scoring fights too close, ie safe and even so they don't get slack for having a slightly wide decision. If that makes sense...

What is more messed up is this article didnt name the judge who scored it 119-110 for pwill.

The article names the other 2 judges julie lederman (she can get it) 114-114 lynn carter 115-113 pwill who scored the fight somewhat fairly, but the guy with the ridiculous scorecard the writer doesnt name?

His name, Pierre Benoist, was added in after the fact. He was meant to be named. My quick fingers inadvertently left him out.

Gary Shaw needs to shut the fuck up then and serve up Angulo to Sergio if he's so outraged by the decision and wants what is right for Martinez. That is a classic puncher vs. boxer match up in the making. Angulo is the WBC interim champ too, so he needs to step up.

Angulo has the WBO interim title, so he's basically Dzinzurik's mandatory.

Martinez is too much for Angulo at this point. Even though his record doesn't indicate it, he punches pretty hard. Speed, power, and experience would tame el perro.

I broke their styles down and called this fight to a T, including the b.s. decision.

Only thing i didn't call or expect was Martinez being as comfterble standing & trading with PW. Did call his power being up to par though.

Those kinda ppl make up the vast majority on the boards though so what can you do.
i dont get it...are you saying that the people on here complaining about the 1 card being way off dont know anything about boxing but at the same time agreeing that the one card was WAYY off??

everyone who knows boxing knows that when you have a popular fighter fighting a guy most dont know the decision will end up favoring the popular one...in this case however the 2 judges got it about perfect while 1 was completly blind..or scored on punches thrown only and didnt even look at the quality of punches landed

They should have this judge for Pac vs. Floyd

Manny Steward hinted that it might be because some judges like boxers who presses forward. This will be great for Pac if this judge's decision was based on Pwill being the agressor.
