i think people are just favoring pwill's aggressiveness and higher punch output.

Round 7: Williams lands a right and a left -- each with power. Martinez appears to be fading. A couple of thudding jabs reach by Williams, who follows up with a left to the temple. Williams jabs, but takes a short, right hook. Williams lands a left and a counter right hand, but later takes a right jab. A right hook by Williams shakes Martinez. Two right jabs by Williams reach their mark. Williams takes a right hook with about 10 seconds left. Williams' round, 10-9.


Round 8: Martinez initially meets Williams in the center of the ring until being forced back due to Williams' jab. Williams continues to pound home his right jab. Martinez attempts to counter to the body. A counter-right from Williams gets the crowd going. His jab is steady, reaching the mark twice. Martinez takes two, hard right hands and two more jabs. Williams takes a right hook and they clinch. Williams is shaken, this time, with the right hook, but Martinez misses with two followups. Williams' round, 10-9.
