Mosley vs. Berto...whats the thoughts on this fight.

    I havent heard much..........

I think the lay off..Shane literally fought last January.........and is fighting this January.....

Against face-first brawlers liek Mayo and Mag..Shanes style is perfect for..but aginst guys like boxers..shane struggles.

Hes old..and has no defense for right hands....he never fares well aginst boxers...Berto isnt all that but he is fast..and has a monster right hand....and he will jab and pot shot Mosley.....

I got Berto to beat Mosley...........in a close fight.

Berto aint beating Mosley. Berto has super over rated power. He's not a big power puncher at all especially for how he looks and his body type. Yes he does have fast hands but he has no head movement or foot movement. Mosley will KO him. He might give Mosley some problems the first few rounds but Mosley will wear that ass out and knock him out with a left hook.

I think Berto may try to pot shot his way to victory as well. Shane's win over Margarito was great, but Berto is a whole other animal. I think Shane will have some trouble with the young lion next year.

I still hope Shane beats his ass though.

Yeah, Andre isn't a big puncher, but he did show some descent movement against Urango, although there was a lot of holding. Mosley gets stronger as the fight wears on, so hopefully he can indeed wear Berto down, as you said.

Mosley is a pretty strong favorite with the oddsmakers. Berto really struggled with Collazo. I would probably favor SSM by UD. I don't think the layoff is too big a problem, SSM seems to keep in shape during his time off. Berto is strong and fast though. I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be a pretty good fight.

I just hope that Mosley KOs him quick so we don't run into a clinch fest. He should be able to too because Berto ballooned up in a bunch of weight and he has to take quite a bit off for the fight. Hopefully that works to Shane's advantage.

Yeah and Urango is a slow plodding fighter. Mosley is fast and will be on Bertos ass pressuring him all fight. I would be shocked if Berto beat Mosley actually.

Sugar Shane by the way and by way of knock out, homey. I cant wait .this willl be a great fight.tough. in da late rounds its gonne be a brawl.okay i dont belive that.much clinching sounds more logical, but after the margo fight i think we hav got a new-born Mosley! Sugaa 4 life,,, bad asswhooping is gonne be in january.

Berto starts to slow down as the fight goes on, but he did finish pretty well against Collazo in the twelfth round (if I remember correctly). I think Mosley can definetly get some good late rounds in the bank against him. A knockout would be even better, but Berto is a pretty tough kid, his defense is leaky though.

If he goes toe to toe with Mosley like he did with Collazo, he is surely screwed though. He will probably be moving a lot because, I just can't picture him outfighting Mosley.
