Is Amir Khan the next big boxing superstar?

Is he? He gets better each time and he got the power and speed. I think his chin could be better but in that fight with Prescott he really got caught bad and anyone would've went down in my opinion.

He seems to be a very well rounded fighter with speed and power.

If he beats Devon Alexander and Timothy Bradley, than yes.

Well he is getting better and better, he will never have an iron jaw, but with his new style and defensive adjustment, he gets hit far less, and doesn't walk into flush shots, also the weight may help, and his power is a deterrent now too.

I see no reason why Khan can't suceed at the top level

Yes. I dont think Khans chin is as bad as people makeout. He just lacked defense back then and got caught by some big punches that would have probably knocked most guys! Under freddie roach he is a real threat and become a big star IMO.

Amir Khan is only 22 years old. People forget that. And for a 22 year old, he has shown a lot. There are very few 22 years olds who have done what he has done... and they were Oscar De La Hoya, Naseem Hamed, Mike Tyson... All Hall of Famers. Amir Khan will at least be a Hall of Famer if not an All time Great.

Yeah, back then his defense wasn't that great and as you mentioned, now he doesn't walk into flush shots. He gets hit much less now and I don't really know why everyone talks **** about his jaw, of course it's not a steel jaw but it's not as bad as people say.

Khan will have some huge fights in the U.S. and make big bucks.

He has all the skills but a few weaknesses and at the present a pretty weak resume.

With Roach guiding him and a switch from Warren to Bob Arum i have more hope he can be pushing for p4p rankings in 4-5 years time.

but he really needs to jump off the Frank Warren fraudwagon soonest.

agreed, i was just about to say that...this kid is only 22...if he keeps his head on straight and stays grounded, his name could be a staple in the sport for years to come
