Not necessarily just Limey vs. Limey matches with some fat referee who's got a lager belly, but even international bouts with Limeys in 'em.
I think if you want to go back to the last time Limeys were really getting cred you'd be looking at the time of the 90s middle/super middles.
People might diss Limey power but it never comes up when we talk about Benn - McClennan. Then there's the bouts with Eubank, of course.
I always forget that the most dominant heavyweight of recent times was a Limey, what with that strange accent of his. A few to count there.
Okay, someone'll bring up Danny Williams. No one will ever paint him as a Limey great, but the Tyson match gave us some thrills, and I suppose his defining moment will be knocking out Mark Potter with his right arm popped out of the socket.
Maybe that milk bottle ****er Hatton will do the job against the Zoo, I don't know what to expect there.
And you know what made me think of this thread? Carl "The Cat" Thompson, and his spectacular "takes so much punishment he's clearly not right in the head" bout against Sebastian Rothwell.
Not to mention Prince Naseem. And I guess the most famous Limey punch of all time has to be Henry Cooper knocking down Ali... or Clay as he was then. Personally I think Ali was just playing too much and got caught, though Cooper was certainly more competitive with Ali than Liston was.
Any more?

fair play to CLinton for insisting on facing Jones, and nobody but Jones. Okay, he got his ass handed to him, but his bloody-minded determination to face only the undisputed division champ is admirable.
