These days testing positive for a "banned substance" (even if it is just to make you pee) is gonna get interpreted as a really bad thing by most fans. It's not like Jr. needs to give hardcore fans anything more for him to rag on, but maybe it's true, and he didn't know it wasn't allowed in Nevada.

The fact that he resorted to diuretics to make weight probably has something to do with his poor performance.

If he had to go that route then chances are he was taking off 10-15 lbs of water weight in a 24 hour period. No surprise he fought like there was sand in his boots if that was the case.

Mayorga was caught having diuretic in his system after his DLH fight also. Remember diuretic's are also often used as Masking drugs for real steroids.
