According to the Nevada State Athletic Commission, “Son of the Legend” Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. allegedly tested positive for the banned substance Furosemide (a drug that elevates the rate of urination) in testing done for his November 14 bout with Troy Rowland in Las Vegas. Chavez has 20 days to respond. He is facing the possibility of his win over Rowland being changed to a no decision, as well as a fine and suspension.
