Technical skills don't always win fights, and this will be a fight, not a boxing match. Mayweather is the better boxer. Pacquiao is the better fighter. Hatton was the better fighter than Malignaggi, but since Hatton had no respect for his (lack of) power, Paulie's technical skills went out the window.

Both of these guys are able to beat the other. Suggesting that because one has the more solid boxing skills he will automatically win is foolish. You are missing out a lot of fine details.

Well, one of the biggest complaints about Floyd's WW run (if you can call it that) is that he's done pretty much nothing. Last time he fought a real WW was when? 2006? That was Baldomir, who currently has 12 losses and maybe a 20% KO ratio in over 60 fights, and who is technically limited and slow. Judah always ****** at WW, 5 of his 6 losses are at the weight, IIRC. Sharmba Mitchell is average. Who else? Oscar? Well, Floyd weighed 150, so we can't call it a WW fight, and he struggled to get an SD anyway.

I just don't see anything impressive about Mayweather at WW. At 130 and 135 he was a beast, but that was six years ago.

Yeah agree with you, FLoyd is no doubt one of the most talented boxer, he's gifted. But when he moved up in weight he couldn't do much of what he used to when he was still in the lower weights, to aggravate things, he hasn't fought any threat or should we say TOP WWs.
