It would be the same damn thing. The hype would not be any different... If we talking about pure hype the sooner the better.

nope. there would be a lot more writers writing because thats a 2 month difference there. The more time, the more people will notice that such a fight is happening. If the fight is on may, i am 100% sure there will be more ppv buys.

No I disagree. I honestly feel that if the fight was signed and announced day after Pac-Cotto and schedule to fight a month later it would done 3 mill PPVs. Everybody was so hype after that fight that you don't even need to promote. Is hot right now. Is ready right now. Look how many times ESPN has talked about this fight in the passed 2 weeks. Is ready right now. There is a chance that if you wait longer then the non boxing fan might forget and not care as much. Right now as we speak people are talking about it in the water coolers. Just for pure hype the sooner the better.

more press conference means theres more trash talking live and can be written on paper. I think the press conference where mayweather brought a chicken for the promotion of his fight with de la hoya was either the 2nd or 3rd. That was a big boost to the hype.

He just mention a wrong analysis on manny's hand. He forgot it is the right hand made Diaz like a punching bag. It was right hand land most in De la hoya, it was the right hand sent Hatton in first round, and in Cotto's fight it was the strong right hand land first before his left shake cotto and send to the canvas. Now ill say the Sr. comments on Mannys right " only " it will lead to wrong speculation and the first loss of his son whom he depended not only by training him but by talking trash to the opponent. Sr is talking about mannys the pacman fighting on or before light weight but not the current Manny's that has a complete skills now.

There was really no trash talk between Cotto-Pac. And, that fight did over a mili. I honestly think trash talk is overrated as for PPV sales. I think trash talk only helps getting in your opponents head. People know who are fighting and want to watch Floyd-Pac that fight would do at least 2 mil even if Floyd and Pac don't say **** throughout the press conference.

****** advice IMO, Pacquiao's right hand is almost as good as his left now. If it weren't he wouldn't be where he is now.
Pretty much what I have been saying for a while now. Pac has a all around game now, not just a left hand.
