Who really cares what the fans feel...it's about the boxers...regardless of what the fans feel, the boxers are the ones fighting.
Style points goes to Mayweather but when the ****ing starts, Pacman can decidely change the tide. A well-timed combo by Pacman can start the end whereas Mayweather has to work ceaselessly outside and not get caught in a toe-to-toe...
It's still a toss up for me. But once again, when the hitting starts....one can see if there would be a detrimental effect on both pugilist's psyche and their adjustments. The edge goes to Mayweather for me in terms of technicalities.
Distancing, timing, quickness, and defensive awareness. But when Pacman starts cutting off inside it could change dramatically. I think the key would be Pacquiao's RIGHT HAND (ironically) since Mayweather could be looking out for Pacquiao's fearsome LEFT CROSS/HOOK/UPPERCUT...
If Pacquiao can counter with his RIGHT HOOK off Mayweather's jabs, then Mayweather will be in a long fight. I think that Pacquiao have to go offensive instead of just working from a counterpuncher's point of view because Mayweather is very quick.
And that meant Pacquiao has to fire those JABS also...but it also meant that he needs to fire a LEFT LEAD CROSS (a la' DLH fight) then a RIGHT HOOK or UPPERCUT to the body and head.
This is the only way I can see Pacquiao cutting off Mayweather's jab. To go before Mayweather jabs or right after he jabs...
TIMING, TIMING and more TIMING.
Meaning, Pacquiao can't just rely on being reactive and counter-punching. He must beat Mayweather to the punch sometimes and go for the kill.
That remains to be seen. Mayweather's jab is uber quick, accurate and great distancing off his footworks.
Predictions?
• If Pacquiao can't cut him off his jabs, Mayweather for a UD or even a late TKO
but if Pacquiao starts ****ing early, attacking AND counter punching...then we might see an early KO or TKO.Comment

I'm confident that Floyd is gonna win but I also think that Pac is a great fighter in his own right so who knows? One thing I do know is I can't wait!! I pray every night to the boxing gods to bless me with the fight going down in Dallas.Comment

give PBF the respect he deserves??? For what? Running, hugging, backpedaling? He's a boxer thats defensive in nature, thats it.
Even though I dont high regards for Pacman, he will get in fight, brawl, u name it, he'll do it. But PBF, is the same garbage over and over again and he has a BIG MOUTH.Comment
