if people are gonna claim roach making cotto go down to 145 is what made cotto slow, then people certainly have to agree jmm going up that much weight had to slow him done alot more

        A 130 Floyd beats a 130 Marquez with ease.

But a 146 Floyd is not the same as a 130 Floyd.

Like how a 130 Pac is not a 142 Pac.
This is probably fair, good assessment. But when you say a 130 Pac is different than a 142 Pac you have to be talking about the strength and power. Im basing most of this on styles, dont forget Floyd is strong too as evidenced by his body now.

He wasnt just doing a 1-2 last year, he had more to his arsenal. Roach added more after the first Morales fight.

Pac is different. He's developed more shots and is more comfortable making weight which may explain why he appears to be more powerful.

1 year but how many weight divisions/weights?

              130, 135, 147, 140, 145. That's a huge jump IMO.

What punch does he throw now that he didnt against Diaz, nothing. He started to add more to his arsenal after the Morales loss, Roach also said this. Why was Pac able to run through Diaz but couldnt run through Marquez? Styles. Marquez is the wrench in Pac and Floyd does everything better than Marquez.

Yes Floyd is very athletic. It's no surprise that the 2 best fighters are damn beast in training. Pac's style and output require him to be in great condition. Same with Floyd because you can't slip and have excellent balance without being in great shape.

Both have great mit work too which I love seeing. Wish I could see Floyd sparring but nevermind.

Style wise Pac is similar but physically he is better which plays a role in how effective his style is.

The downfall to Floyd is that he has given up his jab and combo's. Maybe because of his hands, but they could easily help him win.

Remember that Pac is in his peak, and Floyd is not IMO.

A 130 Floyd beats Pac, but a 147 Pac is really good to me. He can take a punch and give it back, but he can be very accurate for as fast and how many he throws. This is the key for me. How can Floyd neutralise it in a way he lands.

Difference is Marquez re-arranged Pacquiao's face in his 2 "loses" while Mayweather TKO'ed Hatton and decisively decisioned De La Hoya.

Pac took many breaks on the ropes against Cotto because he was winded from activity. Floyd threw and landed countless jabs in his last fight.
