The earlier date favors Floyd. Roach already admitted that he would rather have more time to prepare. Rightfully so, PBF is by far a different fighter from Manny's last three opponents. Manny is in for a looooooooong night

Pac will be fine. Like you said, bruises on the face do not constitute this ridiculous "healing time" that some Paquiao fans are using as an excuse. If that was the case almost every fighter in boxing would take long breaks between fights. I can already see the excuses after the fight " Manny needed more time to recover" Recover from what exactly? Other than the first 3 rounds Pacquiao ripped Cotto apart. Did he get hit in the fight? Yeah, so what. That's boxing. Manny looked and sounded clear headed and full of energy during that interview. He's a tough dude and 4 months for him is plenty of time to "heal".

Roach wanted more time to work out Floyds moves saying so Manny can see what he sees , nothing to to do with the physical side it was mental prep and in that they will never be ready for Floyd , the body training is perfect .

welcome to modern boxing, stop living in the past. IMO the fights still too soon. Floyd already had a 3 month recovery period after a sparring session with JMM. Hasnt been a month since that war with cotto. I prefer both fighting in the best shape of their lives. Floyd already got a nice head start.

Took so much that he danced and partied for 10 hours afterwards , he took no punishment , it was a blow out for his body and a perfect fight for his mental confidence , you dont know conditioning so how you gunna know recovery lol how many fighters have a 8 wk training stint and peak only to have the fight put back and they just ease of and start it up again giving them 16 wks non stop , what I know is 1 fight in 2 yrs is known as a ring rust while Mannys prep is known as fight fit , I know where the advantage is and aint with Floyd .

Maybe you should have a go at your modern boxing you may learn something .

“I really like it when Manny stays so active, when there is not much down time. He stays sharp and that is good.” Freddie Roach on March 13 date .
