...If Cotto doesn't retire with a fight against Antonio Margarito..than I'll be losing A LOT of respect for him as a fighter..

Miguel Cotto til this day is MY FAVORITE fighter..but I keep seeing how he's quick to dismiss a Margarito rematch..and I have a gut feeling that it has nothing to do with him not wanting Margarito to earn another pay day..

Margarito was the person to beat Cotto in his PRIME with his ORIGINAL CORNER..whether there were problems or not..Pacquiao also beat Cotto but there were more stipulations (weight, rookie corner, etc) than when he lost against Margarito..and Cotto got his #1 WW position and his belt taken away from Margarito..and ever since..Miguel Cotto has been the most doubted and disrespected ELITE fighter next to Floyd Mayweather...

People are quick to say he's done, past it, damaged goods, etc..I'm one to say HELL NO...he's 29 and in his PRIME still..he's just not going in the right directions since he left his uncle Evangelista..Santiago is a YES MAN and will do anything to keep a smile on Junito's face..and that's not what Tio Evangelista was about..he layed the LAW and DEMANDED RESPECT and made it KNOWN that he was BOSS of the Camp..

so Miguel Cotto..if you don't hint a rematch with the ONE MAN who put all these doubters to multiply and discredit you even more..than I'll have to say that my respect for you as a BOXER is out the window..I respect you career and LOVED all your fights WIN or LOSE..but this is something I feel you deserve along with ALL the fans that have been with you from the beginning to the end and dealt with ALL the haters and even set some straight!...

if a guy possibly cheated in your fight and found to be one the next one would you even respect that?

Not only will you fight him again but you let him make money and basically telling him it was ok to cheat and you'll never have to live with the punishment like it was nothing.

Margarito doesn't have a ****ing boxing license so this thread is a total and complete fail. There are strong chances that he WON'T get his license back according to the word around town. So don't start typing BS about a rematch that can't happen.

I'd hate to sound like those ****** Marga******s...but it was NEVER proven..I know the surrounding evidence..but the truth is..speculation will never equal FACT..

Honestly Cotto hasn't looked the same since Margarito..and thats the truth..he came back with Evangelista and beat the DOG **** outta Michael Jennings..than he leaves his entire corner for some rookie YES MAN nutritionist..and gives him the title of a TRAINER..and then looks rough against Clottey and Pacquiao..

I say it has a lot to do with his corner..but even more to do with Margarito..he felt invincible until then..and that isn't a bad thing..and I think his own doubts whether Margarito cheated or not is what haunts him the most..he needs to rid himself of those demons that haunt him in every single fight since then.

A complete fail?..

Margarito will come back..Capetillo won't it's pretty obvious by now..even if the CSAC doesn't grant him the license to fight in Cali again..I'm sure Nevada, Texas and the entire East Coast will gladly take him back..he premeditated foul according to them..the suspension was the "slap on the hand" and he'll be back fighting..and Cotto needs to retire that *****!..

The guy doesn't want Margarito to make another dollar of his back, which I can understand, but the complete dismissal, I can't. He should at least engage in negotiations and **** him on the split.

Personally, I feel he's shook from it. If I feel anyone beat me by cheating, I'd want to avenge that as I'm sure many feel the same.
