UPSET WATCH: Carson Jones over Tyrone Brunson

Seems like a sure thing to me

Tyrone Brunson is that guy who has a billion 1st round KO's against some of the worst competition you could imagine.

I havent seen much of him but ive seen the guys he's fought and its a sad sight. Not mention i hear a lot about this guy falling apart late if he doesnt get the early KO.

He has fought only TWO guys with winning records (20-19, 12-9) and went the distance with BOTH. He won an 8 round decision against one. His only other distance fight was a 6 round draw where he apparently fell apart late.

I think if Carson Jones survives the first 3 rounds, we are looking at an easy points decision

Jones is a talented guy who has got some decent pop on his punches. He has gone the 12 round distance against guys like JESUS SOTO KARASS, who is a legitimate puncher. He struggles with a good jab, but thats not something Brunson possesses.

Jones did lose a TKO to Gomez, but Gomez is a very technically sound fighter and it was fought at 150 pounds, where Gomez is a very strong fighter. Gomez also has a great jab, something he displayed in his last fight against Karass. It was brilliant and as i said, Jones struggles immensly with a jab in his face. He couldnt avoid it and Gomez set everything up off of it. Also it was a quick stoppage. HOWEVER, Gomez is slow, something Brunson definetly is not.

Anyway, i think this is a shoe-in. Jones is an underdog at about +150 at most places. Make the bet, win urself some money, and go get u and the family a nice steak dinner

Not to mention, Jones is EXTREMELY active, having fought 8 times already this year, with his last fight in october.

Brunson has had 2 fights in the last year, both coming back to back in october and november.

Steve Kim said the same earlier in the week.

            What were the odds like?

Brunson surprised me with that good jab.

But yea thanks guys lol. won a good bit of money with the pick!

I had another pick like this when Victor Oganov got demolished by Zuniga. I can really tell when young guys are in over their heads and that was the case tonight. glad i won some of u guys some money!
