I think part of the problem may be we live in an age where we want news so fast that it's reported the second it leaves somebody's lips. Like there's no time to fact check anymore.

Plus, the public seems to love drama. It gives us something to talk about. If Freddie says the wrong thing, it doesn't matter, it's taken as fact and as ammo by some fans.

To be fair, it doesn't just apply to Pacquiao fans. People tend to hang on to Roach's every word when it suits their agenda and disregard the rest when it's convenient. They like to pick and choose when to agree with Roach and when to think he's full of it.
