That was the only reason they were going to 154. Floyd doesn't have a title at 154 so there would be no reason to fight at that weight.

Its funny isn't it. When this fight was being discussed on the forum, Floyd fans made thread after thread and post and post saying the fight should happen at 147 and nothing else.

Now, because of Roach said, that may or not be true, Floyd fans are doing damage control JUST in case what Roach is saying is true. So now, "the weight class doesn't matter".

floyd weighed in against jmm at 146, so that proves he can make 147, so no point in wanting it at 154lbs, and manny has the WW(147) belt that floyd wants, so the fight cant be above 147.


however floyd has had hand problems so that is probably why floyd would want 10oz gloves, but imho floyd is probably trying to get an advantage against pac.

floyd already has a huge advantage, since floyd hasnt fought since september and he didnt take many hard hits, pacquiao on the other hand fought in november and took a hell of a beating. that imo is a big enough advantage

whats even more funny is that the Pac camp will prolly come out with something ****ed up on their end and Floyd fans will make threads about it. It's a back and forth battle. We should name these holy wars we are fighting. Good young members are losing their lives
