Mayweather Senior has repeatedly accused Manny Pacquiao of using steroids. I know this is a topic that few wish to revisit but I am going to because of roach's report of Mayweather's demands. I would have expected roach to be outraged but he seems collected and unperturbed by what would at first appear to be a scandalous maneuver to limit Pacquiao's effective punching (10 ounce gloves) and speed (154). If this turns out to be speculation on roach's part how will that affect your opinion of roach and/or will that make Senior's comments seem less offensive by contrast? Both Senior and roach have lobbed salvos at each other through their associated boxers (even though Senior does not train Floyd anymore, they are still close). So I am left to wonder if this is truth or tit for tat.

It seems odd that Arum's quote was "we have some very minor aspects to work out"...You would think that if the weight was a problem, Arum would have mentioned it.

At what weight was Pacquiao going to fight Yuri Foreman?

      I don't think it's that serious really.

The Floyd Snr steroid allegations are a little more vicious but were somewhat overblown also in my opinion. Performance enhancers are pretty prevalent in top level sport full stop, so while it might be classless to publicly state your musings you can't say he pulled it out of his ass exactly.

According to what I read, 154. Which means that roach's complaint that a fight with Mayweather at 154 holds less merit than if they were not considering a fight with Yuri.
