Man, I'm REALLY looking forward to Martinez/Williams!

This fight obviously won't be as exciting as Pavlik/Williams would have been, but it is definitely more intriguing for me as a fan. We know what Williams's game plan will be and we know what Martinez's game plan will be.

The question will be, who will actually be able to execute it? Martinez's fight plan will be VERY difficult to pull of because he will have to expend more energy having to be extremely mobile and defensive the majority of the fight. Being so active and trying to keep a defender who has a granite chin and averages over 80 punches a round is going to be HELL.

I'm leaning more towards Williams for the win. I don't know if it will be a stoppage. Martinez is pretty tough and has great stamina. But I wouldn't be surprised if he pulls of an SD

Yeah me too, I saw where Martinez said he expects to knock Paul out - much easier said than done IMO. Paul is a tall man & I don't think knocking him out will be an easy task for anyone.

Yeah me too, I saw where Martinez said he expects to knock Paul out - much easier said than done IMO. Paul is a tall man & I don't think knocking him out will be an easy task for anyone.

If he TRULY plans on KO'ing Williams, he'll have to give up on another part of his plan because the energy he would be using to crack Willy's jaw will affect other aspects of his strategy. UNLESS he's "masterplan" is to go at his jaw in the late rounds.
