Now Manny agrees to the fight, and all of a sudden Floyd apparently wants the fight at 154 and 10oz gloves???

Floyd has already ONE-UPPED them by calling their BLUFF and accepting a March 13th fight that they THOUGHT he would not accept. NOW he's taking them AWAY from that 144-145lb CATCHWEIGHT by requesting a 154lb weight. Pacquiao will now SAY 147lbs which is WHAT Floyd wants in the 1st place. HE set all of this up by not making the 144lb CATCHWEIGHT against Marquez FUELING the BELIEF that he's struggling to make the 147lb limit!!

Weren't all the Floyd fans complaining about Manny and catchweights saying there should be none and they should fight at 147, now that Floyd will probably want a catchweight it's ok?

many posts about a topic and then things are not what they seem. I'm

That came from Roach, Floyd only fought at 154 1 time. He want manny's belts at 147.

The 10 oz gloves may be true though, but that 154 is Roach parkinsons taking effect!!

154 is a crock if Floyd made 146 for his last fight he isn't going to want to fight at 154

but here is the thing

in Nevada, where the fight probably will land, anything 135 and above is 10oz gloves unless both parties agreed to 8oz. I had an issue with that for Nov 14th as I forgot this and sent 8oz with both Gomez and Soto Karass but luckily they both agreed to 8oz being the glove.

here is the amended rule:

"At Thursday's meeting, the commission voted 4-0 [one commissioner was absent] to allow lightweight and welterweight fighters the option of using 8- or 10-ounce gloves. If the camps can't agree, the default glove size will be 10 ounces, commission executive director Keith Kizer said."

so if Mayweather balks and the camps cannot agree then it defaults to 10s
