Isn't that the truth. Ran away from Marquez to fight the no-name overrated lead foot Lightweight Champ had not fought the best in his own class at the time (Casamayor & Co)...David Diaz. A faded weight drained De LaHoya, in a fight where he outweighed De La Hoya the day of the fight (wow the truth or Reality if you wish). Two fighters who had been pummeled within a year of their fight with Pacquiao....Hatton & Cotto (another eight drained opponent).

Pacquiao has a broken eardrum and its not a joke but Pac will Knock him out still. Pac's knee was injured against Cotto and he still dismantle him.

On the topic of the ear, it was reported here previously that it was cartilage damage (cauliflower ear), which was treated by a doctor on the night of the fight and was described as a minor injury.

A quick search on google news for 'Manny Pacquiao ruptured eardrum' turns up nothing, other than an article in which Paulie Malinagi mentions it in passing in a piece in which he is simply taking shots at Pacman.

I saw the article in which Roach mentioned a '"broken" eardrum' as an excuse for why Manny needs more time to heal, however based on the lack of credible information on the topic (aside from Roach shooting his mouth off, if you call that credible), I am inclined to believe that Roach was just blowing smoke out of his ass.

If anyone has any credible piece of information on a Manny Pacquiao ruptured eardum, I would love to see it. And I mean this only for the sake of accuracy.

If Pacquaio truly had a ruptured eardrum, the boxing commission in either Nevada or Texas would not allow him to TRAIN or FIGHT until he had sufficient time to heal and was approved to begin training by a doctor. However, that won't stop the haters on this site from using this mythical busted eardrum as an excuse when Pac gets his ass whipped.

No one has signed anything. They have simply agreed to the one thing that would have kept the fight from happening -- namely the money split. Everything else is minor in comparison and will be worked out and then, the contract will be signed.

I haven't seen one Mayweather fan even hint at an excuse for Floyd losing. However, the Pac worshippers have already started by saying that Pac needs time to recover from the mythical busted eardrum that he got in the Cotto fight.

Dude, when has Manny Pacquaio ever made an adjustment in a fight? He fights the same way for 12 rounds regardless of whether he is winning or losing. If you don't believe that, look at the Pacquaio/Marquez I fight.
