    Bute vs Hopkins

Sounds like a good fight next for both guys. Bute needs a high profile opponent to legit his claim to be as good as any SMW in the division. Hopkins has nobody to fight on March 13th now and loves a challange against undefeated white champions.

I actually like this one for Bhop. Bute seemed stiff and uncormfortable at times when Andrade would rough him up. Bute is a great fighter though, who could possibly use his speed. However his workrate isn't as good, nor is he as slippery as Calzaghe was.

It would all depend if the B-Hop that turned up against Pavlik shows up. I'm gonna say B-Hop U.D though.

Bute and Pavlik are completely different fighters.

Pavlik is a one dimensional, predictable 1-2 machine. He was tailor made for Hopkins.

Bute is one of the slickest boxers in the world. He's fast, very skilled, very athletic, throws a wide variety of punches, has great combinations and 1 punch KO power.

Hopkins isn't invincible. Taylor beat him twice and Calzaghe clearly beat him.

Bute would win a UD over Hopkins.

I dont know if Hopkins wants to cut down to 168 right before he bulks up to 200 or whatever weight he'll fight Haye at (if they do fight)

I'd take Bernard to win by late KO however

I agree, Bute is much better all around, a whole different ball game

Bute reminds me of Calzaghe somewhat...he may trouble Bernard but regardless I'd favor B-Hop...

I want him to fight at 168-175...leave heavyweight alone

I agree Bute is a much better fighter than Pavlik. I still think the Hopkins that showed up against Pavlik wins a close UD against Bute. However if it happens in Canada it could go either way.
