May would be perfect, pac should ****in drop his political dreams for now and fulfill it after he's retired.. Dont know why he is soo eager to do it now..
I agree Pac should drop the congress bid for now. He can do it next when he's retired, or get appointed by new president to a sports minister or whatever fits him. It must be he wanted to take this opportune time that he is popular and just won the cotto fight. he lost in his last bid to a woman, he may lost this one again with the incumbent - a political clan actually.

Honestly, i don't think 3 months is enough time to promote a mega fight of this magnitude. Plus, Pac has mentioned he wants to take a vacation. They mentioned a 10 week training camp. So that leaves 1 month or so to spend time with his family. Also, he has his birthday coming up... who would he invite this time? lol Now how in the world can he travel and promote the fight with such a small window of free time? i think its very unlikely that a March date will be set. May is looking more likely.
Wanted the fight too in May 2010. Pac should be advised by Gacal and his lots of good advisers to postpone his congressional bid. But those politicians are so greedy they wanted to pull in the popularity of Pac, so if Pac runs with them, they will gain the Pac votes.

Dude what the *** do you think I cant read? The doctor in the Manilla standard said that it wasn't life threataning and Ariza did say that the ear drum was ruptured

"Pacquiao’s conditioning expert Alex Ariza revealed that the cartilage ruptured very mildly during training camp. “We were treating it throughout. But Cotto clearly landed some good shots on that ear and it ruptured badly.”

So yes there was an injury illiterate dumbass!! Read it again!!!

***ing putting a spin on things is pretty low for a ******* but this was expected from a flowmo.

I see that Pacquiao's fans are saying that Pacquiao has a ruptured eardrum. And that ruptured eardrum is the reason the fight should be postponed. On the flipside, Mayweather supporters are saying that Pacquiao is ducking.

I just wanted to provide facts. Because a fighter's health is primary, and I would never encourage or expect a fighter to go into ANY fight (much less a fight os this magnitude) with an injury.

ACCORDING TO ARIZA, Pacquiao suffered a minor ("very mild") cartilage injury in training, and then it ruptured during the fight. Cartilage. Not eardrum. Huge difference. Huge. Please see link:

The doctor saw Pac, checked him out, and "****** the juice out of it". I use that phrase because that is what we called it during wrestling. I wrestled for nine years, and I have had that procedure done twice. In fact, some guys would do it themselves, or to/for other guys on the team. It prevents those ugly cauliflower ears that you see wrestlers/MMA guys with. My own ears are slightly calloused, but fine.

The doctor re-checked Pac again the next day, and said it was very minor, and Pac was fine.

Dr. Jeffrey Roth is a board-certified surgeon in Nevada. I'm making the assumption that he knows what is going on with Pacquiao's ear better than you do.

              Pacquiao's ear - THANKFULLY - is a non-issue.

My guess is that Pac needs to get a better fitting headgear, or to wear a slip-sleeve underneath so that the leather headgear doesn't rub directly on his ears.

              Thanks, guys.

The education system is in a sad state when a person doesn't understand the difference between "cartilage and "eardrum'.

i saw an mma fight stopped because a cut on the ear once but that was because the mma fighter had very severe cauliflower ear (most wrestlers do) and it burst when it got punched.
I, as were all the fans present that night, were just waiting in anticipation for that balloon ear to pop open like a piñata. We weren't disappointed.
I rushed the TV screen as if there was candy and treats all over it.
