When you talk about a man of his convictions, I immediately think of Bernard “The Executioner” Hopkins.
BHop went to State Pen and to Penn State.
But I didn’t know he was an expert on geography until after beat overmatched Enrique Ornelas in his hometown of Philadelphia Wednesday night.
In a weak attempt at trying to salvage a rematch with Roy Jones, who was crumpled in 122 seconds Sydney, Australia, the night before, Hopkins was looking for some excuse for Roy’s crushing defeat.
“That’s why I never go to Europe (to fight),” Hopkins said.
Last time I checked, Australia was a continent to itself but apparently BHop believes the country is somewhere near Germany , France and Spain.
