First, Congratulations on your new angel!

Second, Roach's words don't mean diddly squat, it's Pacman who will decide this. We're just hoping that Arum can work his usual snake charm and get this fight made on March 13...

As far as I know, fighting Yuri wouldn't need the kind of training camp needed for Mayweather. 8 weeks (or less) as opposed to 10 weeks. That's all I can put it down to. Maybe more time is needed to arrange sparring partners, too. For a Mayweather fight, they would need different ones.

        1. Cong**** on God's little gift to you man.

        2. I think this is truly the point that people need to remember in all this babble that is going on. What Roach says about fight dates, weights, glove size, purse splits, etc..... means absolutely nothing. Roach is the trainer. He is not the fighter, manager or the promoter. He loves getting under peoples skin and ****ing with their heads. It humors him. Roach is one hell of a trainer and a game planner for sure. I don't write this to discredit him. I write this so maybe people will stop the childish post about well Roach said this and Roach said that. It holds as much weight as me calling your mom fat.

When Roach starts trash talking the other camp, it works like a charm every friggin time. The fighter, his trainer and even the boxer's fans buys all of Roach's ****...

It hasn't back fired on him yet. It will back fire when someone ignores him. He got Floyd Sr. He got Nacho. He got Santiago. He makes Manny's job really easy in a sense because he swirls the drama over his head. very genius actually. But onece again to my point; his comments about anything other than strategy and training related are meant in pick and probe at the oppositions mental state.
