  • The REAL reason why Pacquiao won't fight Mayweather before Elections!

He knows that Mayweather is going to dominate him and expose him as a one-dimensional fighter. He wants to make sure he wins the election before fighting Mayweather. They planned on fighting Yuri at a 147.1 lb catch-weight for the 154lb belt, expecting Mayweather to price himself out and cause delays.

Their plan back-fired, and now they are trying their best to come up with reasons to duck Mayweather.

They should just be honest to the Boxing fans and announce they are scared to fight Mayweather and call off the fight.

Marquez vs Pacquiao III "Business is finished" - Pacquiao
Mayweather vs Pacquiao "I'm running for office" - Pacquiao

This guy doesn't fight anyone who he doesn't feel is completely shot or weight-drained. Just quit boxing if you don't want to fight the best fighters. Guzman, Raheem, Valero, Marquez III, Mayweather..., just stick to fighting weight-drained shot shop-worn fighters at the end of their careers at gay ass catch-weights.

Floyd agreed to 50/50 and is ready to fight today, tomorrow, 3/2010, 5/2010, anytime. Sign the contract and stop ducking the real challenges!

He probably realized that it's impossible to be in politics and boxing at the same time...the campaign period is very crucial during the period of february, march, and april(elections are held in may). Philippines elections can be so heated as evidenced by the brutal massacre of 57 individuals in maguindanao...pac can't afford to give his opponent any chance to have any advantage...Pac's opponent is from an established political dynasty and is an experienced politician....Those who can't understand this obviously is ignorant w/ regards to Philippines politics...Don't try acting like you know what's going on because only us Filipinos can understand how politics in our country goes....

I don't care when as long as the fight happens....

SOOOOOOOO, then Pacquiao is gonna win the elections...and then what? He is going to take three months away from his job as a new, inexperienced congressman? He will skip meetings to be at WC?

He will miss the session which starts in July?

If he doesn't do it BEFORE, explain how doing it AFTER is better. Thanks.

            Puh-lease!!!!!!

Politics is your country come down to who's the most corrupt and who has the most money. The mouse faced breast implanted President of yours known as Arroyo signed a bill which gives the right for political volunteers to carry fire-arms. What happens next? 57 people are killed in Maguindanao thanks to your President! The same group of rebels who rigged the elections for her when she ran for office. Coincidence? LOL

Pacquiao's side-man, is the ******** lord of the Philippines. He's about as corrupt as it gets.

If Marquez didnt lose in Horrible fashion to Mayweather he would of got a chance. If Pacquiao fought Marquez, they would say hes washed up.

Pacquiao has been eyeing congress for 4 years+ now, your a fking idiot. When you cant wait till September, yet your telling Pacquiao to wait another 2 years when he waited 4+ already.

If he wins the elections, he has 3 years to represent his hometown. If he loses the elections because he didn't campaign enough, he needs to wait for 3 years again to run for office....

I understand pinoy politics and been to the phils, but that has nothing to do with it. He knew for months about the election and still wanted to fight in March. Yes he thought he may go unopposed but wanted time to run after March. The fact is that the Cotto fight was alot tougher than his last 3 fights (Hatton,DLH, Diaz), and wants more time for recovery and trainning.

Great, so Pacquiao's next fight will be in 3 years if he wins.
