It's not that he KO'ed him quick, it's that he KO'ed him when the guy was in the process of trying to touch gloves with him. It wasn't illegal but it was a very ****head thing to do.

Going through the amatuers i was always accustomed to touching gloves in sparring, but not in fights. In the amatuers, if fighters touch gloves in a sign of sportsmanship they will be cautioned against doing it again.

When I turned pro the trainer that I got with would never allow me to touch gloves when sparring, after the bell had sounded to begin a round. He told me that if I do that in the pros that somebody will tag me witha free shot. As a matter of fact, if somebody offered their glove at the beginning of a sparring round I was instructed to nail him, and I did whenever it happened. It caused some commotion in the gym but it would only happen once with every fighter. They would learn to never offer your glove as a pro, it was written in stone in my corner.........Rockin'
