And what is this election bull****. If Pac wants to box, then box. If he wants to run for office, retire already. Theres no place for that in professional boxing.
Pacquiao can handle both careers and the fight will happen next year. Just give Pacquiao a chance to campaign and he'll take care of Mayweather after the election.

People keep throwing around phrases like "*******s" and "*****s" but at the end of the day, when the fight is made. Floyd Mayweather is going to beat Manny Pacquaio up. No amount of name calling is going to change that ****.

I have a problem allowing a bogus political career interfering with boxing. But I have a bigger problem throwing out potential dates and then renegging on those dates only after a fighter has accepted those dates.

          Why this campaign? Why now?

Politics should be a post boxing endeavor imo.

Trainer Freddie Roach has confirmed BoxingScene.com's big scoop over the weekend; Manny Pacquiao may move up to 154-pounds to target a world title shot against undefeated WBA champion Yuri Foreman. Foreman and Pacquiao are both promoted by Top Rank. Roach, who will be in Amir Khan's corner this Saturday, told British press that Floyd Mayweather Jr. doesn't want to fight Pacquiao in March, and Manny doesn't want to wait until May or June to fight again - likely due to a possible election run as noted earlier by BoxingScene's Ronnie Nathanielsz.

"Mayweather doesn't want to fight in March, so we might fight for the 154 pound title in March and move up for that eighth world title. I'm thinking about that still and it's something that I'm kicking around in my head right now," Roach said.

"Yuri Foreman might be the opponent. It is a possibility, and then Mayweather in September. If they guarantee me that, we'll do that, but I need more of a commitment from Mayweather because he's not negotiating too well. It has to happen, and with the money they are going to make out of it, I feel it will happen. Mayweather can't make that money with anybody else."

Bernard Hopkins, a partner in Golden Boy Promotions [who are backing Mayweather], told BoxingScene.com over the weekend that Pacquiao would likely face Foreman before Mayweather, and Floyd would likely fight Shane Mosley - should he beat Andre Berto in January.
You're fookin dumb, I said link that Pacquiao acceped a March Fight.

What you post is a Roach plan and not Pacquiao agreeing for a match for the month March with Foreman.

            Try again dumb****

and really, who's to say that he wont accept this fight? he gets his seat in congress, he's set then he focuses on the PBF fight

is that such a big deal? dude's been giving us great fight after great fight and we can't wait a couple of extra months?

IF he doesnt sign to fight PBF in 2010, as with my thread for horus, then we can start the ducking allegations
Mak, I never said Manny was ducking Floyd. I made this thread because I was suprised that Floyd was not getting credit, in fact, he was getting "hated on" for offering the dates that team Pac has agreed too.

If Pac really cared about this fight and really wanted this fight, I hope he wouldnt let an election, that he can run for AFTER his boxing career, interfere with this megafight.

So Roach doesnt know what he is talking about? Roach said March was a month they would consider Foreman in.
Roach is part of Team Pac.

You cannot postpone a national election. Postponing an election is worth millions of dollars.

What do you mean by bogus political career?

Pacman is a good hearted individual, his main objective is to help the poor people and by winning a congressional seat he can make a big difference to give assistance to his constituencies. Pac motives are true and not an utter bull**** unlike some arrogant fighter.

                      Peace
