I'm a hopeless BHop fan perhaps, but I can see Bernard hurting and stopping Haye in 9 or 10 rounds. I just see Haye being way too cautious and respectful to be effective against Bernard. I think Hopkins would be very comfortable counter-punching Haye; he could be very effective doing nothing but countering.
There is a reason Bernard has (somewhat shamelessly) avoided Chad Dawson, and it has nothing to do with Dawson being a relative unknown. Dawson has the speed, energy, boxing ability and ring intelligence to outwork (and possibly embarrass) Bernard. He may be smaller than Haye, but he represents a much bigger threat to Hopkins than Haye does IMO. Bernard is possibly the smartest guy in the sport. He knows this too. That's why he's talking about Haye and not Dawson.
