These type of fights don't come around often.

Floyd stock is going to raise even more with each fight he wins. If Floyd gets 2 fights of exposure while Manny is sitting on the sidelines with his political career... who is to say Floyd would even agree to fight Manny under the same type of terms or compromise?

Who is to say that Team Pac wont comeback in a year with unrealistic demands, - then claim Floyd is somehow afraid while they beat up on other fighters?

Who is to say that the parties would even want to deal after being jerked around a couple of weeks with this negotiation?

Who is to say after Pac becomes a politician, he would have the desire to come back to boxing?

There needs to be a real commitment from Pac if he wants to postpone this fight. To many things can change if the fight date stays open and not sealed.

Its still early in the process, I hear Arum is in the Philippines to present a good deal.

But if the fight don't happen soon, its possible it wont happen at all.

The boxing community is watching these negotiations very closely.
