it is rather surprising how dumb people can be though. then again, public schools in the 70s and 80s werent exactly difficult to graduate from from what I know.

This reminds me of something I heard in school yesterday. My teacher called on this girl in my World History class, and we are doing a unit on the Renaissance, and the question was "where did the black plague come from?", she confidently answered "United States".

I felt embarrassed to be an American at that moment in time.
