How does Olympic scoring work? I agree that Tszyu won the fight. He pretty much dominated from the end of the first round on. but 32-9..how did they come up with that score? i know its got something to do with the white part of the glove touching the headgear? are there way to lose points since forest's score ended up being so low.

It is not quite as clear as on TV, but many of Forrests punches didn't land clean whereas Tszyu's (or Tzsiu's, as is spelt on the clip) did.
I think that's how the score was so wide.

Yeah, that was really cool stuff there, thanks for sharing it.

The amatuer scoring goes like this. There are 5 judges with a red clicker and a blue clicker. If the red fighter scores a blow then the judges will press the red clicker. If atleast 3 of the 5 judges scored the blow with in 1 second of each other than the blow will score on the total. If only 1 or 2 judges scored it than nothing will register. They did away with the 20 point must system so this is how it is done now.......Rockin'
