i think by the 6th round the ring rust began to fall off and hopkins started looking good getting his timing and flow back.

there was a lot of inside roughing and fighting and definitely kept hopkins on alert.

bhop landed the cleaner and harder punches and started countering very well throughout the second half of the fight against a game opponent.

      Good workout for him

Hopkins was getting hit a little more than I'm used to seeing him hit

Today he was more like the Hopkins from the 90's than the older more cautious Hopkins

Wanna c him in with Haye now

yep, hopkins did start slow either ring rust or just the way he normally does it but looked good after the first few rounds. Pretty amazing how fresh he looked one month away from 45 years old.

Ornelas is a tough dude, he fought rough inside and was fighting like hopkins at times haha.

Good tune up for hopkins, a durable opponent that's going to make you work.

I for one was not all that impressed with Hopkins and my prediction is if he ever fights anything that resembles a world class fighter he will lose and lose badly. And what is up with him saying the Jones fight was a home town decision?

true.....there was plenty of rust on B.Hop early......I expected that.....13 months away at his age can do that!!.....Enrique is tough dude, he took some big shots and landed some good ones as well.......B.Hop needs to jump right back in the mix around March!!

I thought Hopkins looked good in that fight. He made the fight watchable too. And you have to give credit where credit is due where that is concerned. But my stomach is turning at him saying he still wants to fight Roy Jones. And would Roy Jones even go for it now? Hopkins should fight Chad Dawson, and I think he could beat him. Opinions are split on that fight, but I lean toward Hopkins if it ever happens. It's just that he needs to take the damn fight.

Come on, one in his last 11 fights (a former 130 lb titlist) isn't that bad.
