    Here we go again...

This is where boxing needs a little help. If a fighter continually gets knocked out, you have to seriously consider snatching their license. TAYLOR is finished and if they let him fight WARD, he may DIE in the ring. He had a decent run, won two over HOPKINS, had a battle with WRIGHT and now it's time to enjoy some of that hard earned money. He is a fighter and the decision to continue or retire should not be left up to him.

The thing is that he didnt necessarily take a beating in any of those fights. He pretty much just got caught and then put out....He was doing pretty well in all of the fights for the most part. Not sure how I feel about him continuing but its not like he was just out there getting beat up.

pretty much exactly how i feel. If he does go out there, I'll be rooting for him. He's always seemed like a decent enough guy, and I wish him nothin but the best no matter what he does. Not to mention the guy is obviously talented, and can probably still do ok against at least second tier opposition. Even if he becomes a gatekeeper, it'd be nice to see a guy who had so much promise at least be around the sport a little longer.

I want to see him call it a career, but the man has a right to decide when he will hang them up. It's his choice.

Imagine if JT does bow out, and Lucian Bute gets brought in. Andre Ward will have to fight Kessler and Bute back-to-back!

Not an easy proposition at all. Although I think SOG is good enough to pull it off.

Hey guys! Bute is not fighting in the Super 6.

            A. He turned it down in the 1st place.
            B. Hes an HBO fighter now.

Please stop saying you want to see Bute in the Super 6 it is not happening.

Also, according to JT's Twitter page he is going to continue.

JT should fight ward. Ward's power shouldn't be a MASSIVE concern to JT.

JT has the skills, speed and experience to give Ward a tough fight. I don't see Ward stopping JT.

If Taylor drops out, the odds of them getting Bute into the tournament are very low. We would probably end up with Allan Green getting his ass kick all over the rest of the tournament. That said, I would understand if Jermain wanted to drop out. He has definitely been through it and now would be a good time to hang them up.

I agree that major respect is required for Taylor for the way he has never ducked anyone and always went out fighting, but he can't continue getting knocked out.

He has a serious decision to make not just for himself, but his family as well.

Ps - what happens with another fighter taking his place? Does he get Taylor's record in the tourney or what? Then there's the 3pts AA got for KO him!

Jermain Taylor needs to retire. Andre Ward would beat his ass, the guy is just putting his life in danger at this point. The human brain cannot take getting violently knocked around like Jermain Taylor's has and will if he stays in this tournament.
