Floyd didn't fight Margarito because he went for Oscar de la Hoya. Floyd is smart. He made the right fights for his legacy and of course made a ton of money.

So in not fighting Margarito Floyd made the most profitable fight that boxing has EVER seen, how's that a bad business move? Sport wise it was also awesome, he got to fight the lineal and ring champion in his OWN weight class (no catchweights) and beat him. Oscar was not dead weight on that night. Most people were saying that version of Oscar would have beat any other fighter 147 or 154. It's not me saying that btw.

Real Deal ? Hes not even among the top 3 fighters in his division

Floyd is about 5th best.......................among active black boxers in his division.

Oscar was neither the lineal or Ring champ he was just another title holder when he fought Floyd. And may I remind you that Floyd won by one round.

How is he ducking him if the fight is gonna happen ******. Arum just left for the Philipines yesterday, you act like they presented Pacquiao the fight and he completely turned it down. Who gives a **** when the fight happens as long as it happens. I want to see this fight as bad as everyone but as long as it gets done I could care less if the date is March,May, or September. Damn this announcement has barely been a full day and Mayweather fans are already saying he's ducking him. Sounds like you have been waiting a long time to say this and just jumped the gun the first chance you got. This sin't like the margarito thing, where the fight never happened. That's the difference we are actually gonna see this fight. I will give Floyd credit for agreeing, but **** be patient this fight is gonna happen.
