Roy went down on a blow to the back of the head

He has too much pride to complain or ***** about it. He got hit in the back of the head and went down, Green also grabbed his head down a couple of times.

I thought that was illegal but I thought wrong.

With that said I think he should hang them up because he's just not the same fighter anymore. He's been past it since his early 30s(33, 34). JCC was past it at 32, Hatton is only 31 and is past it, Vargas was past it in his late 20's. It happens a lot, some boxers just have longer primes than others.

Still, look at the replay carefully and see he got hit in the back of the head, which is an illegal area to hit.

No, i replayed it myself actually. sorry about that.

But look at it and rewind it, and see he never recovered from when he got hit in the back of his head. That is illegal.

dude, Dan Green threw a straight right hand. If the defending boxer moves his head and positions it so that the punch ends up landing in an illegal area, its his fault, and therefor not illegal.

its the same thing for kidney punches.

there was nothing illegal about the punch Green KOed Roy with.

More like he got hit in the ear / upper part of the head.
