One site from the Philippines is reporting it. This news isn't on any of the other Filipino channels or sites, and there aren't any stories about this on any of the major media outlets. Every news story about Pacquiao and Mayweather is about how the fight is about to be made.

Bob Arum is up in the air flying to the Philippines now to try and sign the fight. Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt he would fly 14 hours just to announce some local TV contract for Top Rank.

If the fight isn't made, then I think it's a clear duck. But let's wait until some actual news is released.

He is lucky to get a direct 14 hour flight to the phils, i had to take 3 planes with a total of 18 hours of flight time.

I am not sure what to say about all this conflicting information. As i said in a different thread that it was in Mayweather's interest to fight in March since he would be much fresher than pac, conidereing he had an easy fight in September and Pac did take 171 punches from cotto and had his eardrum broken.

It does seem odd if the pac camp refuses to fight in March. Because even before the Cotto fight they had wanted to fight in March. In fact, even the boxrec website had a pac fight scheduled for march with "opponent to be named."

Really Floyd dosen't really have a Plan B to fight in March-May, because Mosley or Berto woulnt be ready to fight that fast.

If this fight dosen't take place by May, than i think it will burst the air from the balloon, and it may never take place or maybe late 2010, but if something happens between than as one of them gets injured or loses a fight than it won't happen.

We will see what happens, but if its a FACT that PAC refused to fight in March or May than he must take heat especially after Roach wanted a March fight.
