Hopkins wants legacy, not another 26-27 year old. He's going to go after David Haye. If that cannot happen, then Chad Dawson might get the opportunity.

Dawson needs to man the **** up and fight Tavoris Cloud, someone under the age of 40. Try to unify and make your own greatness. Hopkins is 45 years old, his legacy is cemented. He doesn't need Chad "14 people showed up to my last fight" Dawson.

Although I agree with you Dawson needs to man up, but he's WBC interim, so it would make sense for him to fight the winner of Diaconu/Pascall II. Glen Johnson will most likely fight against Karo Murat for the IBF interim.

No, these guys are NOT ranked higher than B-hop. Don't get caught up with all these abc titles. The only title that matters is the lineal or undisputed title.
B-hop is also a household name. Higher ranked, higher publicity, higher pay... errrr why not?

Hopkins does not school Pascal, Cloud, or Dawson. Hopkins is OVERRATED. Hopkins had a great career and in his prime he would beat all three of these guys, but from what I've seen I see a VERY vulnerable Bernard Hopkins and it's simply because he's past his best.

Chad should be worried about the fans running away from him, not Hopkins. Hopkins would have fought Dawson by now if Dawson was more of an attraction. Tonight's bout is obviously a tune up since he's been inactive, but all the other fights Hopkins was talking about (Jones, Haye) would certainly make him more money. Dawson couldn't even sell out in his hometown against a former champ in a rematch on an exciting fight. Dawson has mad skills, but rarely goes for the kill and doesn't do anything to create excitement out of the ring either (ie Mayweather's trash talking).
