Dont think Hopkins would want to fight Dawson, like Calzzghe - no win.. Might be nowhere else to go with Jones out the picture. imho

Dawson needs to man the **** up and fight Tavoris Cloud, someone under the age of 40. Try to unify and make your own greatness. Hopkins is 45 years old, his legacy is cemented. He doesn't need Chad "14 people showed up to my last fight" Dawson.
Bit of a contradiction there homey.

And those 40 year olds were the best LHW's, he had no one else to fight. He didn't want to give Tarver a rematch, he was contracted to. The entire boxing public was clamoring for a Johnson rematch.

People give him **** for those fights, but he only did what was either expected or was contractually obligated to do.

Go Dawson, I hope this happens before B-Hop retires, this would be an interesting match up.

Natas, who is the #1 Rated LHW?

I doubt B-Hop is 'running' from Dawson. He just isn't arsed fighting him because he has **** all fan base therefore doesn't bring him much money. At 45 after having an accomplished career, he deserves the biggest pay days.

This fight should be made. The only other people with relevance in the LHW division is Tavoris Cloud (he looks too young and inexperienced to face Chad Dawson) and Jean Pascal (no chance).

Since Hopkins wishes to become heavyweight champ and that his dance partner for march has been taken away by a slap to the temple, I guess the smartest move for Hopkins would be to fight at cruiser against Green in Australia. That way he could test the water. But I guess the smartest move of all would be to retire.

Bernard The Executioner Hopkins, what's your point? Do you think hopkins cares about his #1 ranking? He's looking to finish his career and quite frankly, Dawson isn't a spectacular way to finish a hall of fame career. Like I said, he wants David Haye, he wants to win a belt at Heavyweight. How can you knock Hopkins?

I'm not knocking Dawson for wanting Hopkins either, obviously he has ever right to want to go after the #1 guy. I'm simply stating that it's unlikely hopkins will want to finish his career against a guy nobody really cares about or will enhance his legacy.

                      If it happens.........

I got Hopkins in this one....Chad aint got no power & he's chinny.
He's a good boxer and likes to come forward to impose his self on his opponent, i think Bernard and Brother ****m are gonna have an easy time coming up with a game plan to pick apart and KO Dawson....
