until PACMAN himself says he ain't takin' the fight, i'm not believing anything. why would arum waste his time going to manilla to finalize the ****, if word was already being spread that pac wasn't going to fight in March. from all indications the March date was always a go, the opponent was just unnamed.

pac knows how much money is at stake here....fight happens.

Did Floyd shock Team Pacquiao by calling their bluff?

and if he did 10 for cotto, he would surely do at least that for mayweather which would mean they would have to start training last week of december or beginning of january at the least and I'm sure pac would want more of a break between fights than that.
he started training camp late september. fight was mid-november.

he did less than 8 weeks.

especially considering moving from baguiao to manila to los angeles to las vegas.

In March, May or whenever next year, it won't be a problem for the Pacman. It will be the same result. See... JAT

I my opinion, Mayweather was never a ducker. He was just an opportunist who didn't take as many risks as might have. But in the end, I think he is a fighter who is willing to get in there with anybody and be confident of a win.

To me, "ducking" insinuates that you didn't want to fight somebody because you were scared of a loss. In those terms, I think that Mayweather never ducked anybody. I don't think he's ever been scared of any fighter. And this proves it. When it's time to put up or shut up, we can see just what Mayweather is made of. Manny Pacquiao is the biggest threat out there. And nobody wants it more than Floyd Mayweather.

I dont believe this lawyer guy, but if it turns out to be true, the PACQUAK QUAKMAN nick names will be rightfully earned by Manny. Pac fans were so excited when they heard Manny might fight for an 8th title in March. Now he needs time to let his ear heal and recover from the beating Cotto delivered to him. Please.

yeah you're right. I just checked and his training camp for cotto started september 20th which comes out to almost exactly 8 weeks. don't know where I read 10 weeks.
